Turn on my Ipod Touch and the time is always a few hours off,.

  • thedue Jan 09, 2009

Not only does my iPod lose time, it loses the date...by months! If you're playing Fish Tycoon, stop the time in the game prior to correcting the date and time on the iPod. Otherwise all of your fish will have aged the amount of time that the iPod was randomly off by. I lost all of my fish as a result. :(

If you turn the ipod off all the way the unit turns down completly and is all use up a lot of battery power its somthing apple is still looking into so you sould leave it on standby and you will keep the same time and actully save battery life.

Ipod touch battery drains while in sleep mode

batteries drain, even when not in use. in fact, when in sleep mode your ipod is on, and is doing many things. for example, checking email, keeping time, etc.
so the battery drain is normal. to keep it charged i suggest you keep it plugged in. personaly i have it plugged in when not in use. that is one downside of iPods is their battery life.

This similar thing has happed to me for several times, which bothers me awfully, I am eager to say goodbye to it.” a young people complains about. Yes, it is the often the case, we are always worrying about losing the important things from our gadgets–ipod or other devices.

When it comes to how to settle this bothersome problem, some friends suggest me to have a try a professional software, which can reduce the unexpected trouble for us to a great extent and it can help us to save files permanently and safely. Yes it is the ipod to computer transfer software that help us to get away from trouble and save time and money in some ways. It is a really wonderful and magic thing, there is no wonder that it has become a hot thing recently and become to step in many ipod and pc uses’ home. It seems that it has become a irreversible trend among the users.
With it, we can forget about that annoying music loss when re-installing system or when synchronizing with another computer, because with iPod to Computer Transfer you are just few steps away to get music off iPod..It can transfer songs, videos, photos, play lists, podcasts and more from your iPod to PC, iPod to Mac, Mac to iPod, iPod to iTunes. Although Apple’s iTunes program is very good at keeping a computer-based library synchronized to an iPod automatically, or for manually transferring tracks from your computer’s iTunes library onto your iPod, it provides extremely limited functionality for transferring information in the opposite direction—from your iPod back to your computer. iTunes provides no method for transferring your music and other media content from your iPod back to your computer. It has therefore fallen to third-party developers to pick up where iTunes left off in this regard, and there are a number of very robust and full-featured utilities that will do everything from basic copying of media content back to your hard drive all the way through to rebuild your entire iTunes library information on your iPod, complete with playlists, ratings, and play count information. It is the ipod to computer transfer bridge the gap between the ipod and computer and bring about us convenience to some extent.
Let’s hit the “magic bridge” together and keep away from the trouble caused by losing things from ipod or other portable devices.

I forgot my password to my samsung magnet cellphone and need it to reset the password. help!!

solution 1:

put the memory card in your mobile and connect it to the pc and take a backup of the data and then format the memory card .
or use java application to recover the password

solution 2
For S60 1st and 2nd Phones
What should we do if we forget the password? For S60 1st and some of 2nd phones, such as Nokia 3650, Nokia 6600 and Nokia N-Gage, the password is stored in a plain text file.
  • Firstly, you need to install FExplorer, a free file manager that allows us to browser through S60 file system.
  • Next, launch FExplorer and then browser to c:\system folder. There is a file, called mmcstore.
  • Rename the file to mmcstore.txt and then open it. Your password must be several characters at the end of the file.
For S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series
Unfortunately, there is no way to recover the password in the latest S60 phones. The only way that I know so far is by reformatting the memory card. It can be done from Memory Card application by selecting Options | Format memory card menu. Of course, you will lose all your data in the memory card… icon_sad.gif
If any of you have experience unlocking password of memory card in latest S60 phones, feel free to share it here.
Compatible devices: S60 1st, 2nd, 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.
Update (27-Mar-07): I have written another posting about password-protected memory card on Another Tip for Password-protected Memory Card. This mostly applies to Nokia Eseries.

you have to download the fexplorer -java application using your mobile .

Downloaded an application (doa black jack), but cant sync it to my ipod touch? Help?? New to using ipods and this first attempt at an application. Apple iPod touch (32 gb 2nd gen)

When dealing with Apps, always research them first and make sure they are legitimate. Anyone can make an App for I-touch. Apple won't even make sure it works properly first.

Hopefully this helped

How do i complete 2nd stage of restore.entered name etc but how do i keep it ipod nano 8gb.no button to press to keep info

You cannot keep info after a restore, it's the main reason that the function is offered as a last resort. You will have to resync everything afterwords.

If you're concerned about losing files that you cannot resync from your computer, there is hope as long as you have your ipod set to function as a disk drive.

Hopefully you've already done this before getting too far in the restore, but on the ipod main menu in itunes you will see a checkbox which offers you the option to use your ipod as a disk (Enable disk use).

If you have this option selected, you can access your ipod from the My Computer folder. Some files are hidden, so go to Tools on the menu and select folder options. Click the 'view' tab and look for the bubble that allows you to view hidden files and folders.

Copy everything you wish onto your computer, and restore your ipod with no worries!

Ti-84 plus silver edition will not graph

try going into the memory men (2ND - +), and selecting option 2.  Delete some stuff you know you don't need.  If the problem persists, 2ND - +, this time option 7.  Reset the defaults.  You won't lose anything, it will just reset the settings that may be causing this issue.

Transferring pics from ipod video, 30gb back to laptop

I don't think that is possible. Its a one way thing where you can only put pictures from your computer into the IPod.

If it does work, click on your Ipod in Itunes and go to the pictures folder and see if it will let you drag and drop them.

If it does then it work but ITunes doesn't work that way under normal situations.
