Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
I already posted this some where on this site...but I like to help you...
I had the same problem and being helped by HP operator. first take the USB cable out of your computer, then put it off and then on again...it starts to print the test page again...then after the printer stops printing, put the just printed testpage face down on the scanner(glas) and press scan manually...after the scanning(you wait till that is finnished) and then put the printer off and on again....then connect the USB cable to the computer and that will stop the printer from printing the testpage every time you startup your printer....
I belive that after replacing the INk cartridges, you are
experiancing this problem. The Alignment test sheet always prints
everytime you turn on the printer, if u haven't completed the Alignment
To complete the Alignment process, >>Once the printer finished printing the Alignmnet test sheet. >> Place the Test sheet staright on the scanner glass facing down towards right hand corner. >>Press the scan button(color), the Power ON light will start flashing, wait until it stops flashing. >>Alignmnet process completed.
