New Message Wont Dissapear

I recently bought the new Red Razr and of course Sprint gives you a message about the phone so I deleted it...I checked all my voicemails..none..checked any texts..none..I deleted everything..but that damn new message icon is still there. Am I not doing something right or not seeing where this message is at?

Re: New Message Wont Dissapear

So you called it and left it a messege? And then went back in a deleted it? If that doesnt work, take out the battery and leave it out for a bit and put it back in. *US Cellular Worker

Voice Message Icon always displaying

The voice mail symbol is sent to your handset by the network when you get a voicemail, they then send the handset another message to remove the icon once you have listened to the voicemail... Sometimes an error occurs and the phone doesnt receive the removal message...

Try getting a friend or using another phone send yourself a voicemail, then using your phone, check your voicemails, listen to the one you have and delete it... The icon should go... However if its a hardware fault with the handset display then this will not fix it...

Constant flashing envelope on front screen

This is common on the Nokia N79. Your Sim card probably has text messages saved on it and the flashing icon is showing your sim sms memory is full. In the inbox go to the setting and view the sms on the sim, delete them and the message icon should stop flashing.

Can't delete recent text message contacts on Sanyo phone

I have the same problem. I called Sprint and they said the only way to get rid of the recent text message contacts is to completely erase the incoming calls you have. Don't know if that includes locked ones, too, but I'm trying it now (I have one locked message). Will let you know.
