Make sure the audio (the red and the white plugs) are in the OUT on the Player ... and IN on the tv.
also make sure the tv is set to the AV IN mode when playing the dvd.
Otherwise check the TV set up and make sure the speakers are turned on.

You can make the Player to play all-region DVDs [not Blu-ray discs]. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.
Procedure to make it region-free to many DVD brands are given.

I just got a new power supply installed in my Fujitsu 50in. Plasma P50XHA4OUS and cannot get the sound to work, we've tried everything, please HELP!

Assuming the power supply is exact replacement and you did not have this before--check the speakers to make sure not turned off.

If using a cable or sat box make sure sound not way down or off both with the set and the box.

Last but not least if sound is there with a DVD---something somewhere is set to wrong position.

Dvd, sound, no picture

If your DVD is external, I'd check TVs input settings: if your DVD on "progressive scan" mode, it delivers video signal via "component" connections: green, blue, red plus 2 separate red/white for the sound. If you trying to use 3 wires: yellow, red, white( composite), good chance, that the only sound is delivered. Try to switch DVD off 'progressive", if you only have 3 wires. It will deliver "picture". Or, verso-visa: using "component", 5 wires, but DVD set off "progressive scan". I've seen that confusion many times! Unless you have 'built in" DVD player. no matter what, it's must be broken! Use external DVD player, instead! $30 and trip to the store, will solve your problem. Don't want to fix TV, if everything else is alright. Myself, I never liked those "combo" units. You got stuck with mediocre TV and lousy DVD player. Better: separate them!
Good luck,

We have older speakers that came with our computer, and we just moved and since we've moved no sound has come out of the speakers. i have checked a million times and everything's plugged in. i...

First check if the driver for your speakers is up to date. For all we know maibe something that was installed automaticaly or by some one might be interfearing with them. Go to the Window menu, click on Conrol Panel, click on speaker settings, and check to see if anything looks off (like everything is gray and you can't really select anything). If everything seems ok check all the volume settings. Remember there are 3 things that control the volume on the speakers. 1: the nob on the speakers; 2: the volume on your desktop (lower right side next to the clock); 3: the volume on the program you are using (like windows media player). Another thing to remember is some computers come with a mute button (ether on the keyboard or monitor. If your computer has a play/skip/stop buttons it most likely has a mute button. Oh, and some computers have a volume nob next to the CD/DVD player (where you put in disks). Maibe some one turned it down as they grabed to move it. Make sure it's also turned up. If they're all turned up then most likely something got bumped loose during the move. In wich case you'll have to open it up and check the conections. It'd be a good idea to test some one elses speakers so you'll know if it's the computer or the speakers...or you could try pluging in the speakers you have into something else (like an MP3 Player).

You are simply not using the correct INPUT option on the DVD player rather through the remote or physically in the back of the DVD (wrong CABLE input)...

My google chrome didnt work. theres no connection. i re-installed it several times already.

Go to the wrench on the upper right, then under the hood then network. This is where you configure your network settings, if it states it's unconnected follow the walk through in chromes help. Most of the time the issue is that it is set for dial up when it should be broadband or the reverse. If it states it is connected then more information will be needed for us to help you.
Your virus protection and/or firewall may be blocking chrome. Simply enter both and view blocked sites and/or add chrome as an exception.
Is everything else connecting on the computer (other browsers)?
Are you using chromes official download link?
Are you using the developer version of chrome or the standard user one? If so try downloading an archived version of chrome and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it does report the issue with computer specs to chrome and they will work on fixing the issue.
There is a virus that will mess with browser connections usually received through facebook. TDL3 rootkit is a common one (hitman pro 3 is a common removal tool). It should be able to be seen under your proxy settings (in under the hood). They will reveal themselves as bogus users ect. If you have been having virus issues run a virus scan or bring to a computer service center, this will cost money.

Remember to keep virus protection up to date and never to download/click-on things that you don't know or don't trust the source of. I know it sounds like I'm lecturing but almost everyone that comes to me with virus infection started with "well my friend sent me a link to look at their new pictures."
