Question about Electronics - Others
I downloaded some songs to my omnitech 2gb mp3 player but they say unknown format and will not play. If I hook it up to my computer everything plays fine. I've even tried to delete them so I could add more songs but I can't figure out how to do that either.
Some of the Mp3 players require a particular directory structure.
If required, this directory structure is created automatically when you format the card in the player itself.
Make sure you take a backup before formatting the card as it will delete all data on the card.
After formatting, you may see few folders (unhide hidden files as well)
You need to transfer in one of these.
Also let me know how exactly transfer the songs if this does not resolve. If possible, also try giving few details.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
