Olympus fe-210/x-775 when in video mode, playback movie on tv there is no audio sound...no audi sound on camera

Unfortunately this camera does not have audio capability when in the movie mode. The camera was designed intentionally without this feature.

No Audio/Sound when uploaded to Computer


Unfortunately this camera does not have the functionality to record sound during the movie recording mode. The camera was not designed with any input or output audio speakers. This is why you do not hear any sound on the playback.

My olympus Fe-210 wont record sound


This was done intentionally by the camera manufacturers. I agree that it is not fair but the purpose of the movie mode is not to replace a video camera. It just allows you to take short movie clips. Depending on how long you have owned the camera you might be able to exchange it for a model that does allow audio capability in movie mode as Olympus does have other FE models that allow for this feature.

Can't hear audio on video playback (neither direct from camera nor from pc)


This is because the camera is not capable to record the sound. The camera was not designed with any audio speakers to be able to record and playback sound recorded during movie mode.

Whenever I'm filming with my olympus fe-170 camera, I don't get any sound on playback.What am I doing wrong?


Unfortunately nothing. The camera does not have the ability to play back any sound during movie recording as it does not have any way to capture audio. The camera was not designed with this type of functionality.

Page 25 of the camera user manual explains how to have the microphone enabled in order to record sound during movie recording mode.

No sound recording during video recording with olympus fe 170


Hi,

To my knowledge, an Olympus FE-170 has no audio recording capability and records the video on 15FPS.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

On page 20 of your instruction manual are instructions for making sure that the microphone is enabled to have sound on during movie recording
