I had a very similar issue with a mini-maglite...  I finally found the issue to be in the switching system which is two parts...  The first is found under the focusing turret of the flash light that should turn it off and on and adjust the beam.  Remove the light bulb and pry off the part from both edges (the part says do not remove)...  Once off remove the batteries and the second part should follow the batteries down the shaft...  If it doesn't come out You may have to rotate it a little.
Once it's out inspect the contact that would be striking the outside edge of the rim...  It should be lay flat across the top of part two of the switching system...  My issue was it was bend up a little...  If it is use something (it is removable but be gentle with the part)... Once You have it flat reinstall and reinsert followed by the batteries. Once part two of the switching system is installed and secure at the top of the flashlight cylinder reinsert switch part one into switch part two and then gently re-insert the bulb without bending the two bulb leads...  The light should illuminate at this point.  Once the lens and turret are re-installed it should work as normal again...  If You had the same issue I had.

Hi, Maglite should replace this or repair at no charge. They are a very good company to deal with. Try calling customer care. Hope this works.

Color looks white washed!!!

there are in the older rear projection sets lens for those that do not use a lamp for a light source.

In the older sets there are three large black lens that can be seen and reached with the rear cover off---if there clean them as they are the light source in those sets and if dusty picture will look dull and darker than it once did.

If in doubt shoot me a model number.

How to get the head off the makita Ml140 14.4 volt flashlight?

I'll assume it is the same as my similar 18v makita. There would be spring loaded posts that extend out of the main body into the torch head. these act as both contacts and axles for the rotation.
Remove the lens cover, the reflector, the bulb, and the bulb holder.

There should be a metal strip or wire going down the side to where the posts I mention enter. Shine a light down to see. once everything is out of the way, you can slide a narrow spoon handle (or knife or anything that fits) down the gap to push back the spring loaded posts. There may be channels in the plastic to help with this.

once you've got the post down, pull off the head.

I solved my flickering, by bypassing the circuit board, as all a torch need is a battery, a switch, and a bulb rated to match the battery (check your bulb to be sure)

here is a link to my previous solution, (with photos)

The lens projector was pushed in and does not turn enough to adjust the focus.

hello therese prof, Hi, the lens is out of alignment, this could be aligned by disassembling the unit up to only on the outer part. of the case. once the cover is removed, you can re align the focus lens. no need to totally dismantle the entire unit. the lens is a separate passive device not connected to the electronics board.

How can i relace the dmp printer head with new one

  • 1-Turn off printer,

  • 2-Open the printer's front cover to access the printer's ribbon and printhead.
  • 3-Spray the ribbon and printhead with short sprays of air from a can of compressed air to remove any ink, dust and dirt buildup from the components.
  • 4-Use a flashlight to locate the printhead's adjustment lever. The lever is on the left side of the printhead.
  • 5-Push the lever toward the ribbon. This will place the printhead closer to the ribbon so the print will be darker.
  • 6-Close the printer's front cover. Turn on the printer.
  • 7-Print a test document. If the print is still too light, replace the ribbon.

If the print is too dark, turn off the printer and move the printhead's adjustment lever slightly away from the ribbon.

Lens adjust is sticking. With the lense out you

since you have then lens out, get a wide blade flathead and insert it in the smallest part if **** that it will fit into behind the focus ring and turn the blade like you are trying to widen the **** all the way around until it pops out into it's normal position. Getting the entire lens back in properly is a bit tricky since the threads are easily stripped. First screw it all the way back on and then check the focus on the screen. You want to see a crisp image in 3 if not 4 of the outer corners of the screen. It is best to use something with text that fills the whole screen so you can see the 4 corners as you adjust the focus. If the focus is good in the corners, leave it alone. If not, hold the back of the projector in one hand and forcefully push the lens into where you screwed it on and see if it pops into place. It really is trial and error. Once you have a clear picture it is a good idea to remove the top cover and glue all around the base of the tube where it screws on so it doesn't come loose again.

How do i change the bulb on my thor 15mil spot light. Can i change just the bulb itself or do i need to change the light assembly.

You can change just the bulb. You have to unscrew the lens cover off and remove the lens. Take out the bulb to get the correct size. then just replace and reassemble.

    Head lights

Open the hood and get a bright flashlight handy (even in daylight) it will make them easier to spot. Look on top of the headlight assembly 1 st for the left/right screw(s) and then straight into the assembly from the front for the left/right scew(s). The adjustments are not always clearly marked but you will usually see a flathead, phillips. or sometimes a torx head adjustment screw. The front adjustments tune the headlights up/down - the top adjust left/right. Good Luck!!! P.S. the best way to adjust them once you have found the screws is to park about 5 feet away from a garage door at night. Begin adjustments against the beams on the door. They should be directed center left/right and slightly downward up/down.

    Mavica FD95 and Sports Photography.

Basically you bought the wrong camera for your needs. The 95 can not do well under the conditions you describe. The ISO is fixed and to low for the amount of light you have available. The viewfinder begins to darken after the lens is wide open and the shutter speed is increased further. There are three possible cures. More light, not possible in your situation, faster lens or higher ISO, again not possible with your camera. Maybe you could convince them to play in the dayight. :)
