Connect the Cam to the Computer using USB cable.
Switch on the camera. Keep it in play/edit mode.
The computer might automatically ask you if you want to download the video.
If not, open the movie maker and select record/ capture video from device.
Rest should be self explanatory ...

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How can I transfer my 8mm tape to my computer? I need to have the film on a flash drive or dvd.

Assuming that you want to do your video work later (editing,DVD burning)in your PC.

1.Your PC must have video capture device(either built-in or add-on).
2.Properly set your video editing software to able to capture video form your device.
3.Connect your camera to your PC in regular manner, like when you connect it to your TV.
4.Have your camera in PLAYBACK mode.wind the tape to the beginning of the footage you want to capture.
5.Open your editing software.turn on capture mode.
6.Start capture. At the same time, start playing back the footage on the cam.
7.When all footage were captured, click stop capture.
8.Start your editing work.
9.when complete, save it to some uncompressed video format like *.avi for later burning to DVD or converting to other format.

For beginners,I recommend Windows Movie Maker video editing software that should come bundled in almost every computer. It's fast, simple but effective enough for home-movie work.Once your project is completed, save your movie in original .avi format for later burning to DVD,etc.

BTW forget the old-school Linear Editing (on the tape) thing. It's slow, complicate and much less flexible than Non-Linear method.

Power went off while downloading something

ok check in the back of the computer and see if the fan is coming on when you press the power button on the computer. if fan is not coming on then you need to replace the power supply that has the fan on it. this cause the computer to shut off and stay off. if the fan is working then use the system recovery disk to do a factory reset. put the disk in the drive and turn the computer on while holding down F1 or F2. then you will be taken to the windows screen. follow instructions from there and you will be fine

Need start up disk

They do not post links to most of their software. Go to http://service.mattel.com/us/ContactUs.aspx and post what disk you are missing and they should post a link for you. Good luck.

Downloading from hdd to dvd+r ?

When you recorded your "footage" was the dvd recorder set to 2hr (sp), 2.5hr (spp), or 3hr (LP), etc.?Because for example, you downloaded (recorded to your hdd)your "footage" that is say 3hrs long, and your recorder is set to record at 2hrs mode(sp), then when you put a blank dvd in recorder to transfer from hdd to blank dvd, the 3hrs of your "footage" has been recorded in 2hr mode on your hdd, and will only record in 2hr mode onto your blank dvd. Solution is to set your recorder to the record mode in which your "footage" length is. For example, if your "footage" length is 3hrs, set your recorder mode to LP then when you insert your blank dvd should be okay. Or, set your recorder mode to 2hr (sp) and make two recordings of your "footage" onto hdd, splitting them up: 2hr on one, and 1hr on the other. When you burn to blank dvd you will have to have 2 blank dvds, one for 2hrs, the other for 1hr. I had to same thing happen to me. I hope this works for ya.
