Samsung 52'' DLP rear projection -- green tint after moving unit
Unit has been performing perfectly. We moved it upstairs earlier today and after re-attaching it to the Cable box (HD), the color calibration is way off, especially the greens. However, the settings have not been changed on the control menu. How do I get the color calibrations back to normal????
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

When you perform a color calibration on an HP designjet you must use a certain paper. HP bond plotter paper should be one of them. If you are not concerned about perfect color calibration you can lie to the printer and tell it you installed the paper it wants. If it cannot detect that this paper is not exactly what it is looking for it will perform the color calibration. Just keep in mind that it might not be exact or may fail.
Start, programme,hp cp1525,tool box.. in tool box perform color calibration once its completed check for the print quality.. if its rectified.. end process.. if its not rectified only experts can perform do the calibration through aligning the scanner assembly..
Thanks for questioning, pl don't post shot cut questions, your inputs are more valuable for us to give straight away trouble shooting..>Check all cartridges are fully loaded?>Before any body attempted for trouble shoot?>Are you checked for supply status?> Are you performed color calibration?**** Do color calibration (go to menu, system set up,quality, color calibration, calibrate now)Take supply status print out(go to menu, scroll to reports, scroll to supply status, enter in to for print)check all colors are printed are not? If printer take print out from system or print demo page from printer menu.. check print quality...and color calibration..****Remove supplies.. observe while closing the door right side in the supply bank supply contacts engaging or not.(while closing the front door the 'bios voltage contact leavers' engages with the cartridge contacts for passing the voltage in to the cartridge for charging, see the attached snap shot)if these are broken,no contacts or not properly driving by the mechanism, results no print.. check for these contacts...*** alignment disturbed, its major issue users cannot perform this activity..submit in service center for this major issue.
I am curious, do you have a cable box attached to this tv and do you use channel 3 to play the set ? If so your cable box voulme setting is set on variable, and you cable box volume setting is way to low. If this is a HD TV and box use the Component cables or an HDMI cable to connect. Makes a world of difference. Hope this helps. PS if colors look bad when using 5 wire componenet cable, be certain not to have mxed your audio red connector with the video red connector.
Sounds like one of the cables got plugged in wrong.
Look at the back of the HD box and there should be a cable with 5 ends on it (Green,Blue,Red, White and Red).
Often times a flashlight can help make sure you see the colors clearly.
The Green,Blue and one of the Reds is for video. The White and other red are for Audio.
When you unplug the connector the connection it is attached to is also colored. Check to make sure the colors on the cord match the color they are connected to at the box. The most common mistakes connecting these cables are: 1) Crossing the Green and the Blue cables. 2) Connecting the Red Audio cable to the Red Video connection.
If all of the connections match the correct colors find the same cable where it plugs into the back of the TV and check these connections that they are correct.
When you find and move the cable to the correct connection this should clear up your color and you can begin to enjoy your new toys....
There could be a number of things that is slowing your computer down and it depends upon what is running on the computer and in the background.
For example. Someone could have hack into your computer, assuming you are on an unsecured wireless conection. A virus program is using or accessing data on your computer. Your virus program is running a scan on the computer. If you are on the Internet and the service is slow because of the amount of traffic through your ISP's connection.
The way to monitor what is going on is to run Windows Task Manager.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del keys together to open Windows Task Manager.
There are 5 Tabs that view various functions. The Processes and the Performance tab give you details of what is going on.
In the Performance tab if the CPU is running nearly 100% that is why your computer appears slow.
In the Application tab, this shows which programs are opened and running, the more applications that are opened can make the computer slower.
In the Processes tab this shows exactly which process is running and who or what is using that process and the CPU usage. Click on the CPU label twice and it will sort the CPU usage from the highest to the lowest. You maybe able to determine the process which is causing the problem and work out if you can shut down this process/program or it is a problem that needs to be resolved.
I suggest that if you are using a wireless connection that it should be secured to prevent unauthorized access. Install a firewall and anti-virus program. Scan the computer for viruses and trojan horse programs etc.
sounds like the convergence is out of whack. you will need to call a local repair shop and see if they can realign the color guns inside the unit. this is actually a really common problem with moving a rear projection screen.
