Question about iRiver H10 Junior MP3 Player
After updating the songs on my iriver and detaching it from the computer (via safely remove hardware function) I tried to turn it on and all I got was the title screen flashing continuously. I tried the reset button and have tried plugging and detaching it from the computer again but it hasnt fixed the problem. I guess my next step is to wait for the battery to die and recharge but in the meantime are there any other suggstions? Cheers
If you haven't already I would try an emergency connect. -First perform a standard reset as you did before (press rear button for 20GB or disconnect & reconnect the battery for the 5/6GB versions). -Leave the unit turned off, but connect it to your computer's USB port. -Hold down the "o" button and then press the power button for a second to power on the device. -Do not release the "o" button until you see a message such as "emergency connect" or "mass storage" on the player screen. I beleive the message has changed with firmware versions, but it should be something similar. -If this works it should be detected by your computer as an external drive. You should have access to the files. -I would remove all music files from the device and then use the iriver plus software to restore system files. -If you manage to get to this point I would install the newest firmware available for your model of H10, found at the iriver site. The newest firmware adds a lot of functionality, speeds up player response significantly, and fixes many bugs as well.

I had this problem at first too. the only thing you have to do after it's done syncing disconnect it and turn it on. then afterward go through the options till you find database refresh and wait for it to refresh and all your new music should be in it.

SOURCE: iriver E10.....wont play songs
well it seems you deleted your songs but not the titles. weird huh but that happened to me too. so hook it up to your computer, go to " my computer", and then right the icon that is your device, and then click format and that should take care of that.

Tips for a great answer:
1.Turn on your computer. Connect your Samsung MP3 player to your PC via the USB cord. Power on your Samsung MP3 Player.2Wait for the popup screen and select "Open Folder to View Files." If no screen appears, navigate to my computer and double-click the Samsung player.3Select the MP3 files you no longer want on your player by highlighting them with the mouse.4Right-click and select "Delete."5Close the folder and safely remove the MP3 player by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature in the system tray.
