I have just starting playing saints row and have tried saving it heaps of times. Every time i go back to play the game it keeps saying that there were no files found. Im not sure if its the game or the playstation. My ps3 also takes at leats 5 mins to load up when turned on. Im not sure whether this has anything to do with it.

It's possible that you're turning off the ps3 while it's saving, corrupting the save data. Make sure when you turn off the ps3 it's not in the process of saving. Try the above and if you still have no luck it's possible there's an issue with your ps3's hard drive, have you had any problems with any other games?
Also, if the problem persists, try deleting the MW2 gamedata, located under gamedata on the ps3's menu. Best of luck to you.
i will turn on my ps3 it goes to the main screen shows but the game cd doesn't show so i will have to eject an put it in and it would start playing but it will keep freezing then when i'm playing i will beat a level then freeze so it want save every time
try to change your video settings becouse that might be a big plart of it whean i was playing saintsrow2 that i downloaded for free i had the same problem exspt a bit further into the game i was getting a black screen the sound was still on but nothing was happeing and even a few times it hade just a crack in the middile like i shot my monitor with a bb gun
maybe you should try different games? see if those different games freeze, if so, then it might be your blu-ray player in your ps3, or your ps3 might be overheating. my games froze at certain points because my ps3 was overheating, just try a few different games
Thats what happened to me, after I had mine repaired. Ok, I think it's because they had to replace something in the harddrive that had your saved files Like it could be a number of problems including the harddrive, which might cause file corruption. For Example, I was playing Saints Row and completely lost my progress, the next time I went to load my game. But I could be wrong, just a thought.
You might possibly have to much memory on it. Or of course, it COULD have just gotten the Sony version of the 360's red ring of death. This will sound really simple, but you probably should call Sony's support and see what they say. Also check in the disc slot to make sure nothing is blocking the disc. You could get a cheap fan to stay on while you're playing b/c many times game consoles just wear out. My best guess would be that their is something where it souldn't be. You might also try playing with a different controller. Game systems can be really unpredictable b/c they require so much human interaction that they aren't always ready for.
