Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
I have an emachine that just reboots after i put a new power supply in. the original power supply was shot. It starts up to the point where it asks to start windows in different modes. No matter which mode i try the computer shuts down and restarts to that point. I think the motherboard is shot. Am i correct or is there some other problem? If the motherboard is shot, is the cpu also shot? If the cpu not shot can i use it in a intel D845BG motherboard or intel 815
You may be able to start the system restore from the repair console if you have your operating system boot CD by following the steps here.
