You may need a new battery. The BT50 battery has always had issues holding a charge. You may need to call Motorola and see if your battery is still under warranty.

My phone was working fine, I put it to charge the next day I realized was not charged

probably your fone batt is extrem low. you need to find 5volt dc source to "recharge" your batt to the minimum state so you can recharge it again using your daily charger.

A new battery will probably fix the problem, yes. Always be sure you charge a new battery as long as the maker recommends, and then let it run down a few times in the next month, then give it a full charge again, as this somehow makes a battery hold a charge better and last longer.

My galaxy prevail 2 says its charging when plugged in but not taking the the charge. the % keeps going down.

The simple fix is to the replace the battery because it is not charging.

I would check the connection to the phone make sure it was not damaged and I would try a different outlet or a new charger before having to send your phone back ...

Probably the battery went dead and you need to boost it up a little before a normal charger can charge it up. Plug the phone to the charger and leave it for a while, that way it will begin to hold charge gradually.
You can also try to use a universal charger to charge the battery so it will hold a charge to be able to power on the phone.

There are three reason why your phone will not charge.

1) You may need to replace the battery.
2) You may need to replace hour home charger. (If you have a car charger, try it. If it works you know you need to replace your home charger.) or,
3) You'll need to return your phone for service.
