I had mine working in 1080i the other day on my 4800 and now it stopped working so I am looking for some answers. I had it connected to the computer input using the connector and when I turned it off and moved my stuff to a new room it wont play. It is only working with my s-video connector which is really crappy quality. We need some help here INFOCUS!

Try pressing the "auto image" button on the projector itself. This sometimes solves these types of problems.

Try setting the output of the PS3 to 720p or 1080i
And if your not using the component video on the 4805 try that. If you are using an HDMI to M1-D adapter make sure it is HDCP compatible. (P&D)

PS3 to Infocus LP 350 projector using HDMI

Hi,

M1-DA is a type of DVI connection that produces both analogue and digital signals, the easiest and most quality source cable for you to get is a HDMI to M1-DA cable which is now widely available for purchase.

Infocus should have included this cable in with your projector, but instead the power at bee decided to put a M1-DA to DVI-D cable instead when most visual devices now support HDMI and not DVI nowadays.

Thanks

Try pressing the "auto image" button on the projector itself. This usually will correct the sync problem.

Infocus projector 4805 connected to Toshiba laptop

1.
Connect the external display port on your laptop computer to the projection system, and then turn on the projector. For information about connecting external devices to your laptop, see the documentation for your laptop computer.
2.
Set the display resolution of your laptop computer to match the resolution of the projector system. First, on your laptop, open the Display Properties dialog box by using the Display icon in Control Panel, and click the Settings tab. Then, in Screen resolution area, move the slider to adjust the display resolution of your laptop. If you don't know which setting to choose, try 800 x 600 pixels; this is a common setting for many projector systems.

Infocus projector connected to Toshiba laptop

The sequence is fn first then f5 simultaneously then release. However the problem may be the resolution setting on your computer's 2nd monitor output may be out of range (too High) for the 4805 Start with 1024X768 and see if that works.

which video input are you using?
It may possibly be an oxidized rca video connector that needs to be cleaned or just a bad cable.
