This is an issue with Kenwood radios. Many of the reviews I have read state the same issue as well as the way selectiosn are made from the face plate. I know one person reformatted their entire Ipod Folder setup to better fit his kenwood, and another person said they simply uplug it, selct what they want, and replug.

I plugged an iPhone USB cable into my Kenwood KDC-BT652U head unit and heard a pop through the speakers in my truck. I lost all power to the head unit and now it won't turn on at all. Any ideas????

Check the fuses on the head unit. There should be one that you can check, it might be that the cable pulled too much current. USB is not a high current provider.

When I plug my iPod into my car stereo, it's a Kenwood KDC-W3041, sound only comes out of the speakers in one door, but when I play a CD, sound comes from speakers in both doors. What's wrong?

If your using the aux plug in the front make sure the plug is fully inserted into the ipod and the stereo. then make sure all audio settings are set correctly. If you are using any other type of connection for your ipod ensure the connection is not loose.
