after entering a wrong password[different amount of times with different sites] you'll be locked out. It's a theft deterrent, but after a certain amount of time [also differs] you can try again.. I take it you have iTunes and a password there? The password you "seek" my be in that account.
You should connect it to your computer, I've actually never had this problem but I guess once your on iTunes it would reset the password and you could entry it normally.
If it doesnt you could try to connect it to iTunes and then hitting the restore button. This will erase all your data and the put the latest back up you had on your computer in your iPod.
Normally the information in the games and so would be erased. But contacts, notes and other apple-related apps will remain un-touched.
If it was locked and you donot know the password then the only thing you can do is restore it using dfu mode hold both power and home button until it turns off and restart and show you to connect to iTunes. Then restore it. Let me know what happened.
So you are having problem with your disabled iPod?
Try this (it may losing of some data): 1. Hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds (it will bring the iPod to DFU-Device-Firmware-Update mode) 2. Connect your iPod to iTunes, and your computer will detect your iPod as DFU mode, your iTunes will detect it. 3. Click restore button, and it will automatically restore your iPod to the factory reset.
Hope that will help! Any questions? Feel free to ask me =]
