That is the exponential function. Look for a key marked [LN] (the natural logarithm). The exponential function e^(x) shares the same physical key as the natural logarithm.
You access one function directly (marking on surface of key) and the other with [2nd] LN

How do I raise the power of 30 on calculator?

If you are using an HP 12c or have the button on the calculator "yx" you first enter the number you wish to raise (y) then enter then the power (x). For instance to find 230 (2 to the power of 30) you input the number 2 then hit the enter key on the calculator, then input 30 and hit the yx button.

If you have another model of calculator the procedure may be similar or the buttons. Play around with it. By the way the solution to 2 raised to the 30th power is 1,073,741,824.

Where is the exponent button

To raise 10 to a power, use 10^x (the 2nd function of the LOG key). To raise e to a power, use e^x (the 2nd function of the LN key). To raise a number to another, use y^x (the key just above the divide key).

1989 ford Van passenger side power window will not raise or lower. Glass is intact, in bottom support arm, and in tracts. Motor makes sound like it is raising or lowering window but window does not move.

The problem is the power motor gear that raises and lowers the window is worn out. The motor runs, but the gear cannot engage with the gear on the window regulator.
