Question about JVC XV-D723 DVD Player
Everytime I try to play a DVD, the machine stops midway through. Other times it won't play anything at all and says "No Disc" when I put a disc in.

I too have this same problem on my current DVD player, AND strangely enough I had the same problem on my previous player.
Previous player was made multi region and was a Sony S660 (I think that was the model number).
My current DVD player is a Denon and was £550! It is also made multi region and has the same problems! I don't get it!

There may be a connection to the problem, but it sounds like the laser assembly may need to be replaced as well as/or the mpeg printed circuit board(the printed circuit board) attatched to the laser assy. Good Luck.
