How do i replace a bottom element

Without knowing what make it is, it makes it pretty difficult to say. Most ovens have an element in the bottom of the oven compartment. If its a fan forced oven, the element is a cicular one which fits behind a panel in the back of the oven. Some ovens have an element which is fitted behind the floor of the oven and transfers the heat through the base of the oven. In almost all cases, you will have to pull the oven out and remove the back. Make sure the power is OFF to the oven before you do anything.

To gain access to the BELLING element you will have to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will see the fan and element, if you look closely at the element you will probably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes however there is no evidence of a fault but the element is open circuit ie: broken inside the element casing, either way it will need replacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are held in place by nuts from the rear of the machine.

2, If your BELLING fan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning the food more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor is working you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element is heating but the fan motor is not blowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is a little more expensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have the opposite problem ie: your oven is over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your BELLING oven thermostat
4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer is if your BELLING oven is not working at all ie: no heat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTO mode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

Oven not heating up but fan comes on, in the larger oven . Model 1000dfdl

Main oven element probably needs replacing, usualy they only last about 4-5 years depending on usage, fairly cheap to replace, around 15 pounds for the part, fairly easy job for diy enthusiast, or no more than 30 mins work for a appliance repair person. On most ovens, first isolate the oven for safety at the double pole switch outlet. open oven , remove all shelves etc, look for a metal cover at the back which covers the fan and element, usualy two or three screws on the cover to remove, behind cover you see the element and fan, remove two screws on the element mounting plate and carefully pull out with the wires, carefully pull off the two connectors on the element, connect new element and fit in reverse procedure of above.

Beko double oven electric cooker - bottom oven (fan assisted) doesnt come on, rest of cooker works fine

This tutorial will show you how to check your Beko element and how to replace your Beko cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
1.Your Beko oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Beko manual.
2.If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
3.When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Oven not heating up

Easy enough job, you can access the element via the screws inside the oven compartment. Just make sure the unit is isolated at the mains. It is then simply a case of removing the screw that holds the element in and unpluging the spade crimps that connect to it. 5 minute job at the most. Maybe you can help me in return, I have the cookcentre 132wgr but no instructions do you know where I could get some???
