Music Centre Switches Off Straight Away

I have a Panasonic SA-AK 350, 5 CD Changer music centre at home, but the only problem is that when I turn it on it switches off itself after a few seconds. The CD compartenment doesnt open and when it eventually does it takes you CD but doesn't let you take it out. I dont know what to do! Its not even that old.
