You won't get internet connection that way because there is no connection between the first parkervision and the 2nd one. Best way is use only one parkervision router. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc and 2nd lan port connect to 2nd pc in other room.
2nd way is, use only one parkervision. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc, setup wireless SSID and connect your 2nd pc to this router for internet wirelessly. Assuming your 2nd pc has wireless capability.

try to connect your laptop in your router via lan cable..use your lancard..use a utp cable.. if it does not work it mean you have a problem in your internet connection not on your laptop..but if it connects it means you have a problem in your wi-fi connection...
i hope it solves your problem....rate this if this solved it,..
Unplugging the wireless router and connecting it again should not have altered the wireless connection/configuration. You have connected the cables correctly because the Internet works when you connect a LAN cable to the router.
The Linksys wireless configuration or the wireless card configuration in the computer was changed it to lose the wireless connection. The wireless card configuration needs to be changed to match the wireless router's settings or change the Linksys with new configuration settings and configure the wireless card accordingly.

Try turning off the router for 30 secs, then power it up again.
Then try connecting a LAN cable from the computer to the router and see if you can connect to the Internet.
If you can connect to the Internet then -
With the LAN cable open a browser and type in the configuration URL and check the Wireless settings, then check and/or the wireless card settings (it should have the router's SSID and encryption settings etc.)
Also install the latest wireless card driver.
Then test the wireless and Internet connection. If this doesn't work -
Next connect the computer with a LAN cable to the cable or DSL modem to see if you can connect to the Internet.
If you cannot get an Internet connection with the LAN cable, contact your ISP and get them to test the connection to your modem.
If the modem and Internet is OK and you still cannot get a wireless connection then the problem could be a faulty wireless router.
Try resetting the Linksys back to the factory defaults and configure it again.
Power up the router and press the pinhole RESET button on the back of the router for 30 sec
Connect a LAN cable to the wireless router and open a browser and enter to router's configuration IP address and configure the wireless settings, remove the LAN cable when configuration is completed.
You need to configure then wireless card in the computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings.
Try 192.168.0.0 which would be the default address to access your modem. This should allow you to go into the modem and adjust changes. I know on the bottom of my router there is an administrator default password that can e used to access the mainframe of the modem. Check out these features in there. I would start first by connecting via LAN again and then try to conntect to it via a WAN but again see if you can access the modem using the 192.168.0.0.
Router setup You do not have to use the cd. Go to the control panel and un-install the program that the cd installed. then:
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem. Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
