Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
I have removed Linksys from my programs in the control panel and I have no problem connecting directly to my modem. I have tried everything. I was hoping I can re-install Linkysys with your help. Thanks
You do not have to use the cd. Go to the control panel and un-install the program that the cd installed. then:
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
