Won't spin

I have a 3-yr-old HE3t. It is not completely spinning clothes dry at end of cycle. Clothes are still very wet at end of cycle. Last load I did I was watching it and with 5 seconds left it just shut off without doing the higher speed spin after the rinse cycle. If I hit the drain and spin button after the wash cycle ends,it will spin them out the way it used to but won't do it as part of the normal wash cycle. I even hit the extended spin option as part of the wash cycle but doesn't help. Also, at times there has been water left in the drum when I go to do another load. I haven't seen any code numbers show up on the error code lights. Any help would be apprecitated. Overall, happy with the machine but dreading an expensive repair after only 3 years.
