Firstly double check that the recordable discs you have bear the label "Digital Audio" on them as per the attached picture. Secondly what happens when you go through the finialise procedure in the manual? Do you see the ?FIn--d? display when you select the finialise button? Do you see ?NO TOC? and ?REC? indicators blinking at the next step? Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

I need a manual for my TEAC GF-350

This was very difficult to find, but I found it just for you! Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up! Thanks so much for understanding, it would be a huge help to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do this for me. To view the manual you will need adobe reader, which you can get for free from http://get.adobe.com/reader/ You probably already have it though, please try opening the file first and find out. If you require some other manual, the file doesn't work, or this isn't what you are looking for PLEASE reply to my answer here and I will correct it for you. Here is the manual / guide please give it a few minutes the file is quite large:

Trying to finalize a cd

Hi, This is just a guess but it may be worth a try. I have heard that Audio CD-Rs, which are the only media this machine will record onto, are famous for being finicky about being played on different kinds of CD readers. My suggestion is that you "rip" the Audio CD-R's content to your computer (in .wav or .MP3 format) and then make a copy of your album onto a reagular CD-R which is more likely to be played on any CD reader. Not sure if this'll work for you but it's worth a shot. Hope this helps.

CD drawer will not open

Try manually opening the drawer. There's a little hole on the front, Insert a pin or bent paper clip in the hole with the machine "on". Should open for you.

Formatting a blank CD-R to an audio CD to be used in an Hi-fi CD copier Would you know of a share or freeware available, to format a blank CD-R(ecordable) into an audio CD ? To be more explicit, we can find two types of blank recordable CD on the market : audio and data. Only audio CD's can be used in an Hi-Fi CD recorder, while both can be read and recorded from a computer. Apparently, both differ only by the way they are formatted. I was wondering if there is a freeware available to format data recordable CD to audio's. Just a hint : with my CD recorder device, I got two software from Adaptec to create data and audio CD's. The problem when I create an audio CD using this software, is that it requires to copy on it at least one sound file, I cannot make an empty one Any hints ? Thanks and best regards Marc B. (France) Tried to burn to a Philips CD-R blank, which by the way there are four icons on the packaging, one of which is music notes presumably indicating audio, the others are a game controller, a camera, and a movie "clapper". The TEAC does not recognize the blank as an audio CD and so will not burn to it... The topic "Formatting a blank CD-R to an audio CD to be used..." was very informative and at the same time really ticked me off upon reading: "... only those 'audio-cdr' will work in hi-fi recorders. This was part of a deal cut with the record companies when the CD-R recorder first came out. Basically the extra cost of the audio-cdr goes to the record companies as royalties! That means that every one of us has been tried and convicted of pirating audio cd's and we all pay the royalties to compensate. And record companies wonder why they are so hated!" INDEED! At any rate, am I missing something re: the blank Philips CD-R's with the audio icon on the packaging. Does it NOT indicate that they are audio capable? Or what? If someone comes up with a way to format this type of blank for audio they will be highly revered and due many thanx from all of us!
