It is listed under XP. with ATI

I downloaded a driver fromhttp://diablotek.com/. They said it was Vista but when I run it, it said XP.

When I run it, it fails, "can't find inf file".

Hello,

According to this site it looks like Vista doesn't have drivers. You possibly could try this XP drivers listed at this site. In order to try this I would suggest removing the failed driver from device manager and checking the box that ask if you want to remove the files.

NOTE: You will need to make sure that you are removing the correct card when you do this. If you remove the wrong driver it could disable your video output.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate this information.

Thanks

Vertical lines on monitor, normally pink

I have had that very same problem before. Unfortunatly it is all bad news. The card is going bad. You will have to replace the card. I wish there was something else I could tell you, but I know with 100% certanty that the card isnt any good. And the reason your other graphics card may not work is due to you not either uninstalling the 7500 drivers before you swapped, or some of the software affiliated with the 7500 were not completly removed during the uninstall process. Try this program http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ to completly remove all dirver files for the 7500.

Hi I have an ATI Radeon HD 3650 x16 PCI-I installed in my desktop. It doesn't seem to recognize that I have two monitors plugged in. How do I do this? Thank you in advance

Go into Control Panel and choose the Display option in XP or Personalization option in Vista. Find Display settings.
Then check the Extend the desktop onto this monitor box to activate the 2nd monitor.

Cant utilize extended monitor function in XP w/ onboard chipset as other VGA out

You cannot use both the onboard video and a separate card at the same time. Are you trying to use multiple monitors? Your video card must support that if you are, and the Radeon 7500 does not mention that it does. If it does, the ATI Catalyst drivers will have the option.

I need vista vga driver for my compaq evo n1000v notebook

Hi there.
Your graphics controllers are supplied by ATI and is Radeon IGP-340M (RS200M)
Unfortunately there is no Vista driver available for that HP laptop, even ATI don't supply a Vista driver for that model, it only has support for XP.

Thanks for choosing FixYa!!

As far as I am aware, you can not run an ATI card in the same system as an Nvidia card due to driver conflicts.

Graphics Card ati radeon 2400 pro

Hi winklewee, please let me know if this video card is for a notebook or desktop PC? It would also help if you list the amount of memory on the card & type of memory.
You should update the Radeon card regardless of my request above. Click this link I have posted below for a desktop PC.
Uninstall any older drivers before installing the newer drivers. ATI/AMD come's out with new drivers quit often.
For Vista 32-Bit Edition Radeon 2400 Series (PCI-e).
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32
For Vista 64-Bit Edition Radeon 2400 Series (PCI-e).
http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista64/common-vista64

Try the new software first & see if Vista improves. If not think about either increasing you're system memory or increasing the memory size of a new video card.

Good Luck!
Please post the results from the updated software from ATI.
