Question about RCA F32649 32" TV
After kids tried to hook up a Playstation to the back of the TV something seemed to short out, now there are fine faint white lines across the front of the TV screen. Can anyone tell me what happened?
This is an old case and Im sure you have a new TV by now. The problem is the tuner. The grounds are cold and need to be re-heated. The tuner is the little box your cable plugs into. Open the back and you will see where it is soldered to the main board. Heat them back up with a little solder should be three points. while you are in there look around and see if you find more. if that doesnt work then you may have to take the case of the tuner off and look inside for more cold solder joints
