Question about Pioneer DEH-1600 CD Player
Remove the top cover of the head unit with a screw driver. You may also need to remove the face and the front part of the unit. Once the top is exposed showing the cd inside the mechanical parts of the cd player, try to look for a mechanical lever that holds the cd in place. Usually in the middle(ID) of the cd. You'll most like would have to lift the middle part, then slide the the cd out. Check and observe the function of the mechanical parts. And last, try not to exert to much pressure or strain on the parts, because it may not function the same way once its reassembled. It's easy.
