HP Officejet All-in-One Printer

I was printing my monthy bank statement. The paper gave out. I put more paper in the printer. It would never start printing again. I went to "Programs" on my Toishiba Windows Vista computer. I opened the printer. I took the number of times off the ques. It would still never start printing again.

I don't know what I have done.
Maybe you could tell me.

Thanks
Clarice

My printer say out of paper

Hi,
Turn printer off and on.
Check to see if there is a print queue and then load the papers to end the printing.
Try also turning the printer off and unplugging it from power and restarting your PC.
Plug printer back and connect with the PC and then turn them on.
You can also check for paper jams in the paper paths and manually remove any stuck papers.
Run a print test by:
  • Press setup on the printer menu
  • press 1 and then press 4
  • Press start color/start black.
  • Your officejet now runs a print test.
Hope this helps.Thanks!

I have an HP Officejet printer that has now decided after printing some pages that it is out of paper. I put paper in the tray and it still will not print as it keeps saying error "out of paper". What do...

take out the ink cartridges, paper and then unplug the power ... after about 20 seconds, replug the power and then reinsert the ink cartridges... it should work fine..
Otherwise... it is a hardware issue .. printer needs replacement

Hp officejet 6210 all in one, carriage jam

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

My HP 8500 printer worked perfect for 6 months, but now grabs about 10 pages of paper every time it prints and is always jamming up.

Hi there
You should allways gave the paper a good shake before putting in the printer and the paper should keep in a worm place or it will do just that pull in lots at the same time.

It could be paper dust on the paper. Try putting some new paper in the printer to see if that fix it.
