Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Initially, I would suggest using the HP Printing Diagnostic Utility found here. Once you click that, you will see a Download Only button. If you need detailed installation instructions you will see a link below the Download Now that says View Directions which can be used to get step by step instructions for installation of the programs.
If that doesnt correct the issue, I would suggest removing and reinstalling the printer by following the directions below:
I would suggest that you disconnect the usb cable from the printer. Then, if the printer was previously installed, uninstall all programs related to the printer through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
After restarting the computer with the printer still disconnected you can follow the directions below to download the latest drivers.
To download the drivers you can go here. When the page opens you will need to choose your operating system. Then, from the Drivers section I would choose the full feature driver.
Once you click that, you will see a Install Now button that will allow you to immediately install the software and/or a Download Only button that will allow you to download the file for later installation.
Either option will have a link below them that says View Directions which can be used to get step by step instructions for installation of the drivers.
