Question about Canon Powershot PRO 1 Digital Camera
For some months the power zoom om the Pro1 worked perfectly. Today, when I switch the camera on, the lens zooms out to telephoto, but the circular control cannot bring it back to wide angle. when I switch off, however, it politely returns to its proper position. What can I do?
A new camera will fix problem perfectly. LOL Did you drop it? Seem like there might be a short or something similar. Had U ever play the game "Operation"? This camera need it, of cause done by the pro. LOL

Hummmmmm.......I guess it all depends on how hard the drop was. At this point, you have nothing to lose by tinkering around with it.....but my guess would be that it's taken it's last picture. You might try locating a camera repair shop, or even an independent jeweler. They might could at least take a look at it and give you a second opinion. Hope this helps, and sorry about the bad luck!!!!

Your site gave no clue that it was a pay-for-service store, and I think this tactic sucks.
