Lamp power supply

My lamp indicator light was on so we changed the lamp in out Mitsubishi wd 52525 and the lamp indicator is still is lit. I took the back of the tv off and I can see when I turn it on the lamp lights for 3-5 seconds and then off. I saw a resolve issue one of Fixya pages but am not sure what board it was referring too.

Actually Tim, it seems more like a ballast issue, I recommend you replace it, since ity doesn't have enough energy to keep up with the lamp, and that's why you gte a lack of image.

Lamps have been known to burn out the power supply to the DM assembly. If there is no visible damage to the lamp, your problem may be the power supply or the board. Good luck.
