Re: wallpaper but no desktop icons on a MS6188 system
Reloading windows bronstab virus might have corrupted the file "eksplorasi" or maybe the file is itself the virus
now if that is the case the Virus might have made an entry in the startup and as the file has been deleted the windows startup could not find the file hence the error
what you must try is 1)
when you press ctrl +alt + del go to files ->run i guess you know that much now try entering into msconfig and goto the startup tab to determine any malware at start up
2)also go to services and then click "hide microsoft" after that in the remaining one again do a similar check
3)restart your computer after that if still your explorer is not opening not that is where i can really not suggest much but what you can do is go to windows task scheduler and then make schedule to open windows explorer at each "logon" :) at least then your explorer will open everytime you log on

First have you removed the previous Anti Virus installed on your computer? Often you must use the Anti Virus Removal Tool found on the Anti Virus Manufacturer's website that you are replacing with AVG. Two Anti Virus programs on a machine will conflict. If you only used the Windows Uninstaller most likely it's not completely removed.
Hi hbatessr. You have a virus/spyware problem. Whatever has infected your system is trying to access different websites. You need to install and run a spy-ware and anti-virus program to resolve this. If you want some free programs, go to www.download.com and search for and download AVG anti-virus free version and Ad-Aware free version. Once you update and run both of these products, you will find lots of stuff that has infected your computer and needs to be deleted. Hopes this helps!
Have you installed any new programs recently? Definitely sounds like spy-ware or a virus, check your system out. If you don't have anti-virus software installed, go here:http://shop.trendmicro.com/trialpay/ and run the anti-virus scan. I'm guessing you've got an infectected PC. For a free anti-virus program, you can go here: http://free.avg.com/download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition If after running the anti-virus scan your machine doesn't run better, please post back for more suggestions and best of luck to you!
i hope you got norton off your system before putting AVG free on. Virus programs try to fight off other virus programs by postiong false virus claims to erase the other program. eventually they will kill your hard drive. You need a product key for a good virus protectant. Norton or CA offer good, reliable protection for your dollar. What i would do, is back up any really important stuff you have there, format your hard drive and install Vista again if you have the disc and then re-install it to permanetly delete viruses. Also your system maybe slow because VIsta needs at least a dual core processor and 2 GB RAM to work like a XP machine
It sounds like a virus. Go to malwarebytes.org and download MalwareBytes' Anti-Maware and scan with a quick scan. If the quick scan doesn't work, try a full scan. Then get avast! Anti Virus to prevent viruses (It's free!) See http://www.william234.co.nr/mpcs2.html for more details!
