Question about Sony XT-100HD HD Radio Tuner
Is there a way to force the XT-100HD to remember the FM channel of my choice so that when the battery is disconnected it will remember that frequency and return to the channel of my choice after power is restored?
I see from schematic that there is a connector inside the cover (cn501) which is labeled "Flash Programming". This connector has pins labeled RX, TX, Flash_W and 3.3v_backup. May this connector be used to change the default functionality if this unit to force it to return to "radio on" state and on the frequency I have preselected?
There actually is the capability that come with very few radios right now. But, you are looking at a lot of money. I like sticking with my $130.00 Kenwood that plays cd's, fm and am radio, a aux. output to hook my comuteror ipod up to, but my favorite feature is a USB port to hookup a flashdrive to it. I can put thousands of songs on my 12gig. flashdrive and never have to worry about the radio again, including never having to worry about having to reset the stations after disconnecting the power supply.

Sorry but as soon as you disconnect your battery you will lose all memory to everything including your station presets, just as you would your in car l,e,d clock if you have one,,and from what i know i dont think theres a unit that has that capability yet,,hope that helps,,goodluck.
