Question about Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo (2GB) for PSP
I have a problem with the memory stick.... my psp shows that it is a 4 GB card in it instead of 8 Gb.
Often i can't even format it because it says that there isn't any memory stick inside.
Please read this....
1. The firmware on your PSP is too old to recognise the 8GB (only recognises up to 4GB).
2. If firmware is up to date you have a fake memory stick (easy way to check is to check the info for the memory stick on your PSP if its says that MAGIC GATE is unknown rather than supported then it is fake.
The fake ones typically double compress the data so that it appears to have 8GB when in reality it does not.
