I have a Dometic DM2652 in my horse trailer. I plugged the trailer up to allow the refrigerator to cool, and it did cool to begin with. Later, I noticed that it wasn't cooling any longer; however, the auto light and interior lights work. What can I check to try to correct this before taking it to a local dealer?

The DM2652 comes with an optional cooling fan to help with cooling the amonia. The fan cycles on and off as required as it has a tempeature sensor (thermistor). We turn ours off at night by removing the inline fuse (glass tube fuse 3 amp) located in your outside acces panel. The fuse is located in a black fuse holder with a re wire connecting both sides.

Hi crowredman,
I see that you have an RV refrigerator running 110V but the refrigerator does not cool only the freezer works fine.
I believe that you are experiencing shortage in power, if you check I believe you Refrigerator is set for a 220V power.
You can also check if you Refrigerator has a voltage selector where in you can change the power input that it needs to adjust from 110V-220V if it has one most probably it is set to 220V if it is then you can just set it to 110V in order for the Refrigerator to compensate the power that the 110V from the RV is providing and to be able to prevent shortage in power the Refrigerator will then see that it is set to 110V and distribute power evenly to the refrigerator and the freezer.
I hope this helps.
Have a nice day,
mvincentc

First thing to do would be to check the electric heating element with an ohmmeter

Since your unit is an AC and Gas unit, you need to find out if it works on gas in order to make a good diagnosis.
But from your description, it sounds like your DC power is not at the unit.
