I have a new Logitech Webcam. Have it installed. Can see my pic on my screen. When I invite someone, they are receiving a blank screen. What could be causing this. And do I need to use a certain Messenger? Thanks for your help.

Connect your webcam Launch the logitech webcam toolbar from your desktop or if you chose not to install the shortcut - launch it from "All programs" or from your C drive - Programs and files.
Open the Quick Capture menu (2 film frames pic) Check your image here If it shows white - you have a logitech/computer software problem If its OK you have failed to configure it correctly to whatever program you are using it in.
Did you install the support software required to run Logitech cameras - Directx 10 ?
Go to Preferences of Yahoo Messenger and specify this webcam as your default camera. Then only will Yahoo look for it. And the webcam has to be installed before that. So,install the webcam and set it up as default in Yahoo Preferences and then use it in Yahoo.
this are sent from the instant messaging program you use...so on yahoo messenger you have a cam sign on the conversation window...and it sends an invitation on acc...at msn you have the video call also on the conv window...and so on ...all it has to do is to be proper installed in your pc...
What it sounds like is that you have not set up the Video option in your Messenger or Skype program. If this hasn't been done, it will not broadcast your image . It would help if I knew what Messenger you using. This way I can send you directions to setup the camera so it will broadcast. Personally, I'd use Skype and its free to use unless you make phone calls on the computer. Hope this helps. Bud.
