You should call in your local vendor and have this done. They will need to install a jack that matches your headphone jack and punch it down to a certain pair on the phone system, they will also need to go into configuration programming and set the feature. Config password and knowledge of wiring and programming required. Note you need to purchase a license to "re-broadcast" music on phone systems, paging equipment etc. Canada license - http://www.socan.ca/licensees/faq-licensing USA license - http://www.ascap.com/licensing/

If the username or password has been changed on your router and you are not able to get those from your son for whatever reason, I'm not sure you are going to have many options good options. You may need to perform a factory reset and then rerun the router's initial configuration process. That will reset the router to the default username and password, allowing you access and the ability to complete the re-config.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This process WILL reset all other information currently in the router's config: The "external" IP address, the internal addresses, the WiFi settings, the visible Wifi SSID, the WiFi passwords, etc.
To reset the router to its defaults, there is usually a small (red) RESET button that can be pressed with something like a small pin. While this is pressed in, plug in the power. Hold the reset button for a few more seconds and then release it.
I would suggest that you find your exact model on Netgear's site to find the exact process factory reset. If you don't still have it, you will probably be able to find the initial startup and/or user guide there as well.
There is probably a reset button somewhere on the device, it is probably a small pinhole that you put a paper-clip into the reset. If it has its own http web page, there is likely a reset to factory defualts option.
The ip of the computer connecting to it should not change. On a computer connected to it, open cmd start>run then type in cmd, and type 'ipconfig'. It will display details about your connection. Where it says 'default gateway' is the ip of the device. You could try to put the ip in your browser and see if the device has a web page.
