Is it possible to install an antenna on this unit to get better reception?

Lousy radio reception due to line cord antenna. My home wiring is in conduit which effectively shields or bypasses to ground all but strong signals. If I can find a circuit diagram I may attempt to separate the antenna connection from the power line.
