Question about Technics SL-1210 Turntable
I have a Technics SL-J1 turntable and the drive belt has perished can anyone tel me the size / part number or where I can get a new one.
You will need 2 belts, if the turntable belt is gone the other is not far behind . One for the turntable size 23.6 inch by .188 and one for the tracking motor that is in the top cover part, is a 3.0 inch by .046 belt. best place to get them is at kenselectronics.com part numbers 1407-201 and AV-SBS3.0 if you have been checking around you will see other sizes, I have a SL-J1 and have used these and they work perfectly.

This is available from the most trusted belt seller on eBay. If you do not want a PayPal account, you can buy an eBay Gift Card at a grocery store and use it :0)
