We thank you for being a loyal customer. Please note this model has been discontinued for more than 2 years and unfortunately, troubleshooting and/or parts are no longer available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Mine does the same thing and I called GE for service. They said they could cover it under warranty if less than a year old. It is not! They told me to unplug the phone for the Elec, phone line and take out the battery for about 4 hrs. I did overnight and still have the flashing light to with the charging light.
Go buy a new one and return the old one in its place would be my suggestion.
I called UNIDEN to fix the problem, though I am not sure it is resolved I will wait n see. As the problem happens intermittently, there is no real way to know at this point. I know the phones are only about 6-7mos old to my home.
The offer to replace/refund the money spent is on the table if the problem continues.
The blinking cordless handset seems to be your main issue. IT should not continue to blink after a start up. I think if you replace the handset and sync it to your base station, your problem will be resolved. The T7406 phones are not the most rugged handsets. IF this unit was dropped, a lo of your symptoms make sense.
