Hi there,

is your pc boot in bios set up? if not,try to replace your power supply. TIP: please don't do multiple booting in your pc, its really totally damage the power supply.

but before that, try to do this, uncover your pc, then hold your HDD before you turn on your pc. after that, if your HDD is not responding, then try to replace the power jack of your HDD and plug it firmly, and try again. if really not responding, then replace your power supply. if yes, might be you have some problem with your video card. if theres video out or RAM. your computer cannot process the program or os.

Where do i plug in the wires for my motherboard. My husband accidently disconnected them, and walked away.

The set of pins for the power switch etc are on the front left corner of the motherboard if you are looking at the board with the ports/vga/keyboard to the back. Hope this helps.

No output on Monitor

Check if any of the pins of the Keyborad PS2 jack. Looks loke during cleaning a few vital parts may heve moved. Unseat the RAM sticks and after cleaning insert it firmly. Check all cable and wires for snug tight connections. You could try to clean ur power switch too bt aerasol spray, but the main is the keyboard. Recheck for bent pins and/or any stuck keys on the keyboard. If evrything is OK and the PC still behves the same, try replacing the power supply (SMPS) with a properly functional one & if it works, simply buy a new SMPS and install it....sodeep

Hi there,

First of all does your power supply smell of burning?.... if so than you need a new power supply, otherwise you may have blown you motherboard which may include your cpu.

Please let me know what you find and I may be able to help you.
