Need more info, like are you trying to use thw Windows Wireless Connection Wizard or The Linksys one. By default if you installed the software from linksys and not just a driver the the Linksys Wireless Access Wizard should be enables and you will have to use it. I personnally would disable the Linksys Wizard and use the Windows version. You usually can do this by right clicking on the icon for the Linksys wizard and selecting Use Windows... After doing that you should be able to right click on the wireless connection icon, select VIew Available Wireless Networks, select the desired network, then click on connect. The Link below may also help.

Usually such problems occur when the administrator to the internet service decides to block a particular user from accessing the internet or sets a password for users on the internet. The best bet is to contact your neighbour as he will be the best person to tell you what happened.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Why won't it connect to the internet?

First, you will need to know the wireless settings (such as Wireless network name and Wireless security) on the wireless access-point or router.

Once you have those settings, use the WUSB54GSC wireless utility. It should show the wireless network name of your access-point. Just select the name and click connect then type the passphrase or wireless security key, if enabled.

Missing drivers and can not download from internet without wireless. How can I get the cd drivers?

You are obviously using another internet connection as you were able to post this request. Use that internet connection and get a USB flash drive you can copy the driver to.

Then follow this link and download the driver to your USB flash drive, take it to your computer and install it.

You should have an RJ-45 cable connected from your ADSL modem to your router's internet RJ-45 plug then download network magic or similar software to input your user name and password on the router. this way you'll have internet even if your computer is turned off.

Downloaded WUSB54GSC and cannot connect to the internet

Please try this:

Connect your PC with a cable to the router. See if you can access the router configuration with Internet Explorer (or firefox...). To do this, you have to know the IP address of the router: it is in the documentation and is by default. You can find the info on the website of Linksys. On mine, the router IP address is 192.168.0.1. I type the IP address in the address bar in Internet Explorer (http://192.168.0.1) and I reach the router login. It may look hard to do, but if you do it once, you will understand the process and be able to troubleshoot your connection in the future.

I think that your IP address is now used by another computer. Once you reach the router configuration, you will be able to reserve your IP address, so no more problem to get to Internet. See the manual for the router login and password.

Internet explorer won't open

when it says connected it means to the router, open up internet explorer>tools>internet options>connections tab and tick never dial a connection, or if it's already greyed out it's ok.

Assuming you have run the wireless network connection wizard first to set up the connection, if not it's in network connections and select new wireless connection or set up a wireless network.
