REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS INTERMITTANTLY

1 Remove the batteries form the remote and blow hot air by hair drier about 5 seconds . replace the older/ used batteries with new one of same kind. Does it solve your problem ?

Remove the batteries and unscrew the remote and then open the case of remote , clean the PCB's key pad area with soft and dry cloth , put small amount of carbon ink (purchase from electronics parts shop- cost $0.5 approx) on key pad's back side round dots, let it be dry for 30-45 min , assemble the remote and fit batteries and enjoy.

open the r.control clean the keypads for dirty, corrosion, oxide, use the wd-40. replace the old batteries and put a new ones, clean the contacts spring batteries, and tight with plier for better contacts.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check its battery contacts inside the battery compartment for any dust or rust accumulated, prevents proper electrical contacts. Clean them well before inserting batteries. 1) replace the batteries by new one alkalines
2) clean the contacts batteries very wells
3) retight the springs contacts with pliers, for better contacts.
4) try again, reset the code.
5) open the remote control and clean the keypads with contacts cleaner for diryt, dust, and oxide.
6) resolder all points from board rremote
7) if this not work, you must go to the repair shop TV for fix it.
8) the SYSCOM can be defective. remember they send I.R emission.

Turn tv on manually.Test the remote control all functions are dead or some functions work other don't?Tries take the remote control parts and clean the inner rubbers buttons between the rubbers insulater and the remote circuitries board and the battery connections + - connections with some rubbing alchahol.Then wait awhile like 20 mins and putting it back together again and putting in new battery in the remote,it might work again.If getting the same result than the remote CPU chip is probally dead,remote control devices are very depended on it CPU chip.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote for the replacement.

Try cleaning the contacts that connect to the batteries. A pencil eraser will clean the contacts.

Just a thought, but maybe even the new batteries aren't making good contact (you have replaced the batteries, right?).
