Printer is not print properly & paper jam problem. how repair the printer &how to troubleshoot the printer &how check out ,which part have problem.

When you removed the jammed paper, did the paper come out inone piece, if not did all the pieces that were removed make up the entire sheetof paper?
Otherwise there may be still a small piece/s of paper still in the printer, which is causing this error message. When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper. The rollers may be dirty or sticky and causes the paper tonot feed straight.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits.

My HP 5940 printer squeaks when it prints. What should I do?

Nothing really. Some are just noisy. Probably some paper dust. You can clean it carefully if there is any obvious dust with a vacuum

Check error

Try the following steps

1. Unplug power
2. USING THE FINGER HOLDS ON EITHER SIDE, lock scanner cover into open position
DO NOT TOUCH THE ENCODER STRIP (clear plastic strip in front of the white vinyl band)
3. Remove jammed paper/foreign objects (check under the print head; if the print head is in the middle, slide it to the either the left or the right side, & check for paper scraps underneath the print head)
[IF WHEN THE SCANNER COVER WAS OPENED, THE PRINT HEAD IS ON THE LEFT SIDE]
4. Move the print head to the middle
5. With the print head in the middle, remove any ripped paper/foreign objects from the left corner (SINCE THE RIPPED PAPER COULD BE VERY SMALL, USE A FLASHLIGHT TO INSPECT)
6. Close the scanner cover & plug the machine back into the power outlet
[PERSISTENCE OF THIS ERROR MESSAGE OR NO PAPER SCRAPS/FOREIGN OBJECTS FOUND MEANS THAT THE ENCODER STRIP WILL REQUIRE CLEANING]
[IF WHEN THE SCANNER COVER WAS OPENED, THE PRINT HEAD IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE]
7. Plug the power cord back into the power outlet...LCD will show "Cover is Open"
8. Press Stop/Exit for approximately 5 seconds until the print head moves to the middle
9. UNPLUG MACHINE FROM POWER OUTLET
10. USE A FLASHLIGHT & TWEEZERS TO INSPECT: Remove any debris from the right corner
11. USING THE FINGER HOLDS ON EITHER SIDE, close scanner cover & plug machine into power outlet
[PERSISTENCE OF THIS ERROR MESSAGE OR NO PAPER SCRAPS/FOREIGN OBJECTS FOUND MEANS THAT THE ENCODER STRIP WILL REQUIRE CLEANING]

TO CLEAN THE ENCODER STRIP... (clear plastic strip in front of the white vinyl band)
[Markings & debris can adhere on the surface of encoder strip FROM HAND CONTACT &/OR GREASE CONTACT INCURRED FROM REMOVAL OF JAMMED PAPER]
DO NOT USE FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCES NOR ANY TYPE OF SPRAY TO CLEAN INSIDE/OUTSIDE MACHINE
1. Unplug machine from power outlet
2. USING THE FINGER HOLDS ON EITHER SIDE, lock scanner cover into open position
3. Clean both sides of encoder WITH ONLY A DRY, LINT-FREE CLOTH
DO NOT FORCEFULLY PULL ON ENCODER STRIP
DO NOT TOUCH ENCODER STRIP WITH BARE HANDS
DO NOT FORCEFULLY SCRUB ENCODER STRIP (THAT COULD SCRATCH ITS SURFACE)
4. Clean encoder strip from right to left--stopping just before the left corner
5. Clean encoder strip from left to right--stopping just before the right corner
6. Repeat steps 5 & 6 two or three times to clean thoroughly
7. After cleaning encoder strip, USE FINGER HOLDS TO close scanner cover
8. Plug machine back into power outlet.

Photo Paper keeps jamming

It's the top rollers, the paper is too slick to get through them. I'm using HP photo paper, in an HP printer. It needs to do a 180, but gets jammed right where it prints, so the paper never makes it to the ink. It's an engineering problem by HP. I suggest putting a rough surface on the top edge of the photo paper, something removable but rough enough for the printer to pull the photo paper through.

HP 5940: Can't clean print nozzles- the services facility is not installed but downloading drivers from net doesn't fix this. What next?

You can download the entire contents of your original installation CD from HP's site, look for it.
Also, try removing the cartridges and set the print head in household ammonia for 15-20 minutes, then blot on absorbent paper towels (don't scrub, it may pick up fibers) until you see that the printing surface of the cartridge is bleeding well.

Printer says out of ink, won't print

Greetings,
Try this In service mode.
Put Stop/reset 4 times orange => reset waste ink.
Put stop/reset 8 times orange => set level ink.
This isn't set level but it disable ink check. The LED warning still blink but no error code appear anymore.

Are you sure that all the paper came out? I don't really know anything specific about your partic- ular printer; but if any paper is still in the paper path, it may not allow itself to power on. Can you see that the paper path is clear all the way through from pickup to finish? Do you have a user's manual with the printer? You may be able to perform some sequence of steps to clear the nvram on the printer if necesary. If still no power, investigate power connection, try alternate source (other outlet, power strip). Also, alternate power cord for printer if possible. Good-luck:)
