You are either not using enough of the wash chemical or you need a product like Jet Dri...what you are seeing is mineral deposits.  Make sure your water temperature is hot enough.  If not sure, use the cycle which heats the water.

some fagors have a built in water heater (not all) your manual should say so , even so I allways connect my machines to hot supply as yes it's less expensive to use domestic heater for water , the heater inside (if equipped) machine just boosts the temp for cleaner dishes

Hi,

The scum, film and white residue problems have started since the reduction of phosphates in dishwasher detergents.

Here is a tip that will help you to solve the problem of films, residue, and scum in your dishwasher.

White residue baked on dishes and wont come off even when washed by hand

Unfortunately this could be caused by water that is to soft combined with bad wash liquid. Typically you want to make sure you get the highest possible phosphorous content in wash liquid. This will help with the staining on your dishes. At this point you won't be able to get it off the dishes.

Run 1 quart of white vinegar through a wash cycle.

Food always gets stuck in the water spray holes pluging them up. It needs a better food filter system. We have a GLD4500N

As recommended most of the dishwashers are not equipped with this filter. But it is always recommended to clear the food off the dish/plates, wash off or wipe and put it for cleaning. The dish washer cleaning is entirely the degreasing/ sterilising of the vessels.
Hence the tip to get your dish washer in good shape is to wipe/wash off the food and load it to the trays inside.
This is my suggestion as we cannot improvise the machine. I hope this helps Good day

Dishwasher is throwing food bits back on dishes during wash. How do I clean out dishwasher?

While loading into the machine always remove the food particles from the dishes. The wash machine will clean the sticky oil grease only.

Check the drain filter in the machine and clean. Refer user manual.

There is a product out called the dishwasher filtration system. it filters the water going into your dishwasher reducing the hrad minerals that leave that white residue. it is very affordable and works amazing. it goes right under the sink and is easy to install. go to www.dishwasherfilter.com for more info on it.

Water left after finishing wash

I have a Bosch Dishwasher and the E-Nr is SGS4362EU/03. The machine is approximately 4 years old, in good condition and has been working very well. Suddenly, there is water remaining after it completes a 50 degrees C wash cycle. This is also evident with the pre wash cycle and the 65 degrees wash cycle.

I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have loosened the internal pump white cover (Torx T 20 screw) and checked for any physical blockage - none. I have also checked for any drainage hose kinks - none.

I have tried a series of empty washes and the machine drains the water during the wash cycles. The dishes are also have a dull colour and show show signs of not being properly rinsed during the wash cycle.

Please assist.

Reagrds,

Brian

The correct way to start the wash cycle

we have just purchased a Fagor dishwasher also - the instruction manual is worthless.

in regards to the 2 thin tubes, we just inserted them in the gallon jugs that the soap/rinse agents comes in and it works fine. just make sure the clear tube without the label goes in the rinse agent and the labeled tube goes in the soap jug. we did drill a hole in the top cap of the jugs and pushed the line thru and that helped keeping the tubes in the jugs and minimized the mess if the jugs fell over.

in regards to the temperature problem, we found that running it thru a couple of cycles before you start the actual dishes helped get the water temperature up faster. it seems to like to start with normal tap hot water first, so the 1st couple of cycles get the cold water out of the line.
