Hi:

First off, Ares (just the basic open source software) is free. Any variations of this software are managed under the GPL and cannot be sold. You may have been ripped off.

However, for the connection problem, make sure any firewall software on your system is not blocking the connection. If you have a router with built in protection, you may have to configure the router to allow traffic to that port. For information on the reconfiguration of this, go to www.portforward.com.

Hope this helps
Kyle

What is my new battery terminal sparking when I try to connect the last cable?

This sounds like it is trying to "Short Out". Turn off all the power to the chair and re-check your battery connections.
A "Short" is where the electricity is trying to flow the Wrong way around the circuit. This will badly Damage you batteries if you keep trying to connect them.
When connecting batteries together you ALWAYS connect a Positive (+) to a Negative (-). NEVER Positive to Positive or Negative to Negative.
Start at the Negative wire, connect it to the Negative terminal on the first battery, (Battery One). Then on Battery One connect the Positive terminal to the Negative terminal on Battery Two. You now connect the chair's Positive cable to the Positive terminal on Battery Two.
You should get NO sparks. Carefully turn on the chair's power. The batteries should NOT spark and should NOT get hot quickly.
**CAUTION** If it does spark or get hot quickly after you have done this TURN EVERYTHING OFF and disconnect the negative cable. This means there is a problem somewhere else in the chairs electrics.

follow this instruction and fix it. God bless you
  1. Make sure all power cords are connected.
  2. Try pressing the enter/play key.
  3. Make sure the TV is turned on and the input is set properly.
  4. Make sure the TV source is set properly on the TV (This is probably done on the screen; Check your TV manual).

Old Pride Rally won't charge or run

The batteries may be too old to take a charge. They are gell cell types and can be had at any battery shop. You can get them on line too, but shipping will be high.

My tv wont turn on. I have done nothing to it except to turn it off to go to bed. It turned back on and i turned it off and it wont turn on. what could be the problem?

Check the power outlet. Connect the TV to some other power outlet and see. If you find the same problem, the TV might be shown to a qualified service technician, as some fuse would have blown inside.

400 watt hps grow light just bought it but wont work!

Please review the following information.

Take care note of the discussion of connecting the ballast to the lamp housing and ensuring the ballast is NOT connected to the mains when the lamp housing is connected or disconnected from the ballast.
Also be aware the system will not allow you to turn it off and then immediately turn it back on again. There is a built-in safety feature to ensure the lamp and ballast are not damaged due to loss of utility power. There is a 10-minute delay built into the system in the event utility power is lost..
