Question about HP Printers & Copiers

3 Answers

HP Business Inkjet 1200. Lights told me to change one of the Ink Cartrides. Changed it, but it is printing very poorly. Tried another new Ink Cartridge, still no good. I have used the clean printhead routine many times but still no good. It seems now that all the colors, even the black are printing very poorly.

Sir try uninstalling and reinstalling again on your computer. lets say you go back to very first like youve just bought a new printer and do all procedures. Also your printer CD driver included a utility software for some troubleshooting including calibration of colors. Calibration of colors utility make your printer correct the color settings. hope that helps!

thank you for using fixya

It may be that you are printing with the wrong paper
settings or that the automatic paper sensor has failed. To start, go
into the driver and set the paper type to "plain paper" and then print
a test page to see if this has corrected the problem.

If not print a diagnostic self test as shown at the following:

If none of this points at a problem then try forcing a calibration page as shown at the following: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jh...
If there are not eight green checkmarks this is an indication of a
problem with the automatic alignment and paper calibration sensor. This
can sometimes occur if there is a severe paper jam, which can dislodge
the lens from the sensor. The sensor can be purchased from HP at the
    following: http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/mai...

HP Business Inkjet 1200 printer always prints the Alignment Page

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

HP HP Business Inkjet 1000

If the printer is new, then maybe the printer catridge nozzle seals have not been removed and so the catridges are not being detected.

If it has been working before and then the problem starts, look at which light is blinking  because the paper and catridge lights are different. So check wich light is on and get to me for further instructions.
thnx
