Fellowes DM8C shredder will run backwards using the switch, but will not run forward at all. Please Advise.

It sounds like a bad switch assembly. I don't think spare parts are available.

Try blowing out the switches with canned air.

My Fellowes shredder DM17Cs won't stop running unless shut off


Blow some canned air down into the feed slot to clean the sensors.

Paper gets jammed. Even shredding just one sheeet of paper. Clicking noise is heard before the red light comes on.


The problem was solved by putting some oil on the top of the shredder and running the motor forward and in reverse to coat the teeth. Thank you.

No power to my shredder


Hello,
Check that there is still power to your outlet by plugging in something else.
Make sure that your shredder is properly and completely seated on your waste receptacle. There is a switch in the notch that prevents the shredder's running if it doesn't make contact. With the shredder unplugged, you might need to look up into the notch to make sure that there idn't anything in there that might prevent the switch from making good contact.
Work the switch from forward to reverse and back.
This should get you going.

Fellows paper shredder


So where do I buy a Fellows DMS8c paper shedder blade? I hate to have to buy a new shredder when this one was a good one, just needs a new blade. Please advise.
