Question about Philips (MCD700) System

1 Answer

Multizone I recently purchased a Philips DVDR3570H and iwas assured by the sales assistant that is was a multizone player, however when i got it home i foung it was not. I conatacted the store from which I bought and again was told it was a multizone player but that i would have to get it chipped. I have contacted a few places that do chip DVD players but they do not deal with Phillips products. I have been told by a couple of them that most new players are designed to be multizone ant that all i need is the code. I have searched the internet trying to find the code to multizone my DVD recorder with no succes, I wonder if you could assist me by directing me to a site or store that could help me. i would be most appreciative. Regards: Scott

I found it somewhere in the Net, and it worked in my case:

1. Turn on the player from the front panel (without a CD/DVD inserted!)
2. Select HOME on the remote and ensure Hard Disk is highlighted
3. Press PLAY
4. Immediately enter 159 121 212 005 255
5. Press PLAY
6. Turn the player off

When you turn it on again, it is multi-regional!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Audio synchronization problem with my SONOS multizone system?

Hooking anything up through a Bose system will always cause latency issues because of all the processing that Bose systems do with the audio signal. It sounds great, but it will always be a half beat behind anything that is not processing sound the same way a Bose system does.

Coby 937 region code

Hi John

Simply take it to AV shop , they will quickly convert the area code for you. Ask them to open it to all regions - did it with my Panasonic and it's just so much easier not to worry about regional issues.

I think they charged me something like $3

Showing wrong region

Hai,
Your are right, but this issue is there with not only philips the region issue is there with all the DVD Players, but there is a solution ......!!!!! you can resolve your issue.
You need to play only pirated dvd's on your dvd player, otherwise you can do one more thing using your computer with software you can change the region free for any movies to play on your dvd player...

LG LH-D6230 DVD

I had a similar problem coming from South Africa to Australia and had to change the regional code setting.

Change to multizone format:

1)Ensure no disk in unit
2)Unplug unit from AC supply
3)Plug unit back into ac supply
4)Use remote control for the following commands:
5)Press the power key, the unit will come on
6)Wait until no disk appears on the display
7)Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE;3;1;4;1;5;9
8) "Code" will appear on the display
9)Press 0 (multizone)
10 Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE,POWER
11)The unit will turn off(standby mode), leaving the new regional code programmed. If you do not succeed at the first attempt disconnect the unit and repeat the above steps (1 to 10)

Hop this helps
