Question about Motorola TalkAbout T5000 2-Way Radio

We could not immediate locate a user guide for your T5000 radio, however, the T4900 and T5100 radios manuals both indicate the roger beep is turned on/off by holding in the plus (+) button while turning the radio on.

SOURCE: turning off roger beep
Press and hold the plus (+) button while turning on the radio.
You can find the instructions on page 24 of the user manual: http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/manuals/T6500.pdf
